It was seven years ago that One More Last Cast was born. It has reached 188 posts, and putting all that in place has taken more hours than I can reckon.
There are still quite a few ideas going around my head —some of them already in draft form—, as well as some video material for editing.
Unfortunately what I don’t have anymore is motivation.
Thanks a lot to those who have been following my follies.
Who knows, maybe I will resume this project in the future. Anyway, keep casting and fishing —that is, look for beauty wherever it is.
Take care,
Aitor
I always enjoyed following your excellent thoughts about fly fishing and fly casting in particular. I know too well how much time it takes to constantly deliever self produced content in proper quaulity. Few of us manage to do so. You have always been one of them! Take your time and I’ll be back when you deliever again!

I’ve loved your work for a long while. Thanks for the help you gave me, freely without ever knowing it. Stay well and enjoy whatever you move into now.

Aitor, what I can tell you for sure is that in these years following your follies you have allowed me to open my mind, reason and understand the reality on many concepts that I have always taken for granted and be a better fly fisherman and caster in all senses.
Thank you very much for all this.
I hope you will be happy and healthy whatever you do in the future.

Aitor,
Thank you! Your insight opened my mind and improved my casting. Come to Florida and let me take you fishing!

Hi Gary,
It would be a great pleasure to fish those scenarios that you so beautifully describe in your writings. Thanks!

Dear Aitor,
Your slomo videos, coupled with your thoughts on casting, have opened my eyes in this area and I would like to thank you warmly for that. Stopping your excellent blog — which is for sure a reference for many of us around the world — is really a pity : i just hope you will find (very quick) the motivation again. In the meantime, I hope we’ll finally have the opportunity to meet once more to fish and to cast together.
Take care, thanks again

Malik,
Unfortunately it wasn’t possible to see you again this time in Furstenfeldbruck. I hope we will meet there next year. Lots of things to discuss and many drag free casts for me to learn. 😉
Take care,
Aitor

Thanks, I have enjoyed following your posts and ideas. I am thankful for your questioning and considered ideas.
It is these that have helped me on my own casting journey.
I am glad we were able to meet last year when you came to Australia,
Kind regards Ian
